About Us

Indigo Aura Doula Services is a Black woman owned organization based in Detroit, Michigan. Established by multi-faceted artist and certified full-spectrum doula, Diamond Symoné, IADS is committed to empowering clients to make healthy, informed decisions on their birth journey. IADS fosters positive client relationships, supports families and provides resources as needed. 

Offering a wide range of services for expecting families, IADS provides support through but not limited to: lactation counseling, prenatal + postpartum education, nutrition education, infant care, light household duties, resources for economic, mental health and family support.

Home Visits

Home visits are available according to your schedule, comfort and needs. Infant care, goal setting, light cleaning and cooking duties are optional services for home visits.

Lactation Consultant

We are here for your breastfeeding needs. Lactation consultation involves education on proper latching, pumping technique, physical relief/remedies, milk storage and client nutrition.

Birth Doula

As a full spectrum doula, birth preparation and labor service is offered as a means of support for our clients. We make a commitment to support you through all aspects of your labor.
